Just been to Paintshield and had the wife's new S2000 treated to the Paintshield film.

www.xpeleu.com

They informed me that they are now approved by TVR (they had always stayed away from Armorfend etc), but apparently TVR was happy with the application (i.e. no cutting or stretching on the car) and you can now get it fitted at either the factory or the dealers.

It does seem better than Armourfend. It's a better quality plastic and seems thinner and therefore less visible.

They have done a whole load of TVR's already and feedback seems good.

Anybody else use them as I am thinking of having the Griff done after the front end respray?

Richard

p.s. have no connection with them, but thought they were very good to deal with and professional.

Yes,
I was the first to have a Griff done. Looks good - can hardly notice it and I had the bits I wanted. Defo not cut on the car as I was there all day with the designer and fitters.
Got a stone chip on the bonnet on the way home so having that dealt with and another piece put on the bonnet.
I will be at numerous events if anyone wants a look.
Wasn't that keen but as a rspray costs £4k and takes about 6 weeks it was worth the investment to at leats delay the inevitable.
