Having just ordered one and expecting delivery in August, I would be keen in the following months to see if there are various OBD unlocks anyone has managed or any tips and tricks that people have encountered. I previously had an S5 and the Hints and Tips thread was superb for advice throughout ownership. Hope this is of use to others!

I’ve got one, bought a 6 month old demo car, it’s been back to Audi twice for various problems to be sorted under warranty. It’s still got one or two issues but when it works properly it’s a lovely drive!

Nothing major, just irritating electrical gremlins. The anti collision camera software has been updated but it’s still not right, the camera would fail intermittently.

There is a software issue with the sat nav which Audi are working on a fix for at the moment, it’s a known problem, every now and again all your favourites and previous destinations are lost.

It had a few rattles that were fixed by taking the dash apart and screwing back together.

Another problem was the tyre pressure warning kept going off. Seemingly it had a puncture so a non-acoustic tyre was put on (they come out of the factory with acoustic tyres) and the mix of tyres was confusing the system. It’s now got matching tyres on and the problem has been solved (done under warranty).

Has anyone managed to remove the audi badging from the rear?

I ended up with a stock car and wanted the badge deletion option but obviously too late. Is it old school hairdrier and dental floss treatment or harder?

I presume those badges and the roundels are just glued?

I want to take mine off. I’m sick of people asking what mpg I get out of a 4 litre!

Had mine now for 5000 miles and it’s averaged 52 mpg so far. Overall, despite of the faults, I’m liking it, smooth, comfortable and quiet.
