Hi Graham
I have a nearly new one. It's done 2 races only.
It's a Glebe T5 Straight Cut box. Absolutely mint. Ready to go...cost me over £2K. Striaght cut 5th. Ally Bronze etc...Can be viewed in Manchester.
The ratios are as follows : 1st - 2.43:1 , 2nd -1.56:1 , 3rd -1.24:1, 4th 1.0:1 , 5th .897:1.
Manufacturers website - www.glebe.co.uk/fdev.htm
Sensible offers considered...
Regards
Neil.

Box removal should not require engine out,?. Call me on 07850 304332 if you need a box, Straght cut or synchro with s/cut 5th, I can also repair yours, Dave.
Graham has a Rover V8 fitted, not the AJP, and he had some custom mounts made. This seems to necessitate removal to get the box off - not sure why.
He's now the owner of an ex-factory dog box, so immediate crisis over....
The gearbox is about 4inches higher and six inches further back than with the AJP.
We tried getting the box out on its own, but once unbolted from the bell housing ( a major task in itself as the top two bolts are almost impossible to get at)
the gearbox can't move back far enough to remove it, as it jams in the chassis ..
So it was oil pump off, exhaust disconnected, fuel disconected, engine mounts off and move the motor forward and up about 6 inches to get the blinking gearbox out..
Just got to wait until Sunday to get the new box off John Reid as he stops off on the way to Coombe
Then its box in Tuesday ( Monday's my daughters Birthday) a quick test around the museum access road on wednesday to learn how to use a dog box, and practice a few starts, before loading up for Knockhill on Thursday!!!
Cheers

Actually I think they are Borg Warner T5 boxes.
Graham - if its any consolation mate, I lost 3rd gear yersterday too, in the first race.
They are Borg Warner; it is the same g/box as the Ford Mustang. What is the Glebe box like?
The Glebe box is a T5 casing with new STRONG internals. Very nice but you have to pay for it...mines still avaliable for a few weeks and then its being traded for a Jerico gearbox unless one of you guys want it.
