Was a bit late slowing down where the A322 changes from NSL (70mph) into 50mph heading into Bracknell last night. There are markings on the road there as if there is a speed camera - and my passenger claimed people had been done there - however, I couldn't see a camera on the approach, or in my mirror.
Went home that way, and although it wasn't ideal being on the opposite side of a dual carriageway, I couldn't see one then either.

Anybody know if there is actually one there?

You’re safe.

Markings are still Present from when a temp one (now long gone) was installed during the scheme works.

Those line were put there for the temp Gatso camera during roadworks years ago and should have been removed.

The contractors used to come and put a temp petrol generator next to it at the start of every shift.
I think two or three got liberated and they gave up.
Most likely went on Preloved sale site.

Yes, it must be gone - I went through there "a bit above the 50 limit" a few months ago and haven't had a NIP.

Is there a speed camera on the A322 approaching Bracknell. I have read a few forums from 2018 stating that there aren’t however, I see the lines on the floor and I was a bit slow going from the national speed limit to 50mph just before the 50mins.
I am sleepless, not knowing wether I will get a ticket or not could someone help me ?

The lines are only there from when there was a camera, but I'm sure it went when they finished work installing the traffic lights at the junction with Nine Mile Ride.

Since the topic has been resurrected - is there a camera near KFC?
I see this 13 year-old node on OSM, signs on both sides of the road, but nothing resembling a camera in street level imagery..

Again, never seen one in a long long time. One near the Sports Centre though off towards Camberley.

Hmm, thanks.
Do you mean the Leisure Centre on A322/South Hill Road? It's also got camera signs, but I've never seen the actual camera

Camera there both sides of road. If you drive past sports centre on your RHS it is a 100m down the road.

Looked at some imagery from May-24 but couldn't spot it. Will need to pay more attention next time I'm there so I can map it

Thanks - that's put my mind at rest. I've been worrying for the 5 years since I posted that wink

There are no cameras on the A322 going M3->M4
There are two cameras on the A322 going M4->M3
- One at the top of the hill covering the red light on the intersection after the BP (Sainsbury's on your right) and one covering the Bagshot crossroads, again red light as well (and recently upgraded).

Additionally, camera vans park in the layby on the long straight down toward the Bagshot crossroads.

Finally, there are two sets of camera markings but no cameras: one heading toward the M4 at the 50 sign, just before first Bracknell cross roads, one heading toward the M3, opposite KFC. Neither have had cameras on for years.

There are cameras on South Hill Road, (sports centre on the right), but not the A322.

Thanks, that's what I thought, I knew about the red light ones, but was wondering if there were any fixed speedcams that were unmapped
