We have just started looking at bigger campers ideally Crafter or LWB Sprinter based. We have 3 kids and it looks like most campers are geared up for 4. Is it easy enough to get belts added? Two of the kids are young twins so the actual sleeping arrangements we can manage with but its the seating that seems to be a challenge at the moment?

The easiest way to do this is to have a bench seat up front , so 3 up front and 2 in the rear seat with belts.

Not as practical as 2 up front as the seat will not turn as easy and walking in to the back of the van from the front will be harder to do.

Short answer is no. They need to be properly engineered and attached to hard points. You can get 3 seat RIB beds but they're wider so it's unlikely they'll fit with the other furniture.

The other question is how long do you plan to keep it? The twins will grow disturbingly quickly!

The solution maybe to start from scratch. Or get a motorhome...
