VW Passat R??

[spookly]

I was just looking at the new Passat on the VW site. Not much detail on there yet ahead of release.... but looking at the visualiser the Passat shown is wearing R badges and is in the R's signature Lapiz blue.

So... it appears there might be a Passat R coming.

Edit to add: Or, on second glance, they might be 'R Line' badges.... booo.

Probably an R-Line. There was one on display in Geneva, I thought it was quite nice actually.

I'm also awaiting specs and prices as I am due a new company car.

Not liking the 'exhausts' on the R-Line..

Almost certain they are R-line badges, shame really as a passat R would be cool (google the passat R36.. a cool car!) Although if a passat R would float your boat why not look at a Golf R estate
