Anything anti cat is dangerous ground on PH, no matter how tongue in cheek. I had a ban for it.

I have constant paw marks up the front of my E39 and there's claw marks on the boot lid where they jump on to the roof of the garage. Pretty much nothing you can do to stop the nasty f***ers

The solution to this is so obvious

Capture the cats that sit / stroll across your cars, fix them to the roof near you Velux. Duct tape is quite good for this. The cats will scare away the birds and because they're now otherwise engaged they won't be messing with your cars.

Problem solved

Disclaimer: If might be necessary to feed the cats from time to time or replace them when they expire. Birds might still be scared of expired cats anyway?

The Australian government are getting fed up with cats, they have resorted to poisoning them. Im not suggesting that you do the same, but it just shows that they are a pest.

For cats - water pistol / super soaker - non harmful and they will stop sitting on your car after a few attempts.

That article only shows that 2 to 6 million feral cats are a specific problem that the Australian government has decided to action against.

I have a bd fox that keeps walking on my car and more recently it tries to jump on the car from the back but just claws the fk out of the paintwork!

I've tried anti fox spray, the high pitched noise thingy, putting lemon juice on my car but nothing keeps the bd off.

That solution works for grey squirrels too - i may have accidently squirted one a bit too hard, when it wasn't expecting it, so much so that it fell off a tree branch last summer

Didn't work so well with a local fox however - last summer one thought it was a fun game and decided to sit on my patio doorstep and stare at me through the door glass for 30 minutes
