Audi A1

[Robbo 27]

An elderly neighbour has just bought a second hand 3 door A1, she has asked me about a hook like thing in the boot.

On the drivers side of the boot there is a circular plastic thing, just over an inch across, there is a hook like thing which folds out. It looks like it should fold out or even pull out but I am reluctant to use too much force.

Any ideas as to what this thing does?

Thanks.
