Audi A5 Lease - Delivery Delays?

Thought I'd ask here to see if anybody else is experiencing this if they've ordered an A5...
My dad ordered an A5 coupe in February. Estimated delivery would have been well in time for when his current leased car goes back later this month.
Now Audi are being very vauge and we've gone from early May, then late May, then early June, now 'some time' in the summer.
My worry is that the order will get pushed back until the end of year when the facelifted version arrives. Nobody is even sure if the car actually has a build slot. We've been told some very vague stuff about shipping and port delays to do with Brexit (?!).

WLTP, I was in my dealers the other day and they’re at the point of being brought to their knees as they’re struggling to get most models currently. There’s threads on here, all the petrol S4/5/6/7 have just been binned for diesel hybrids, you haven’t been able to order an S5 for over 6 months.
Ask for the Audi order number then use the tracker to check where it is in the process.
Odds are if it dealer doesn’t have a order number then they have no allocation.
My understanding is that Audi UK haven’t been accepting A5 orders for a couple of months as the backlog stretches beyond the current build cut off date for pre-facelift models.
