Seems a shame as the regular v10 alloys look more impressive.
Out of curiosity, has anyone bought or sold a Mk1 V10 recently ? Trying to get a feel for actual prices (rather than asking prices).
Prices vary depending on manuals (lot rarer) and auto.Out of curiosity, has anyone bought or sold a Mk1 V10 recently ? Trying to get a feel for actual prices (rather than asking prices).
Looking at the market, manual prices are between £45,000 and £60,000.
Just put a deposit on a 2010 coupe manual V10 with only 15k on the clock. Bought privately, get to learn so much more about a car and how it’s been looked after..... or not in some cases.
Prices seem to have levelled off a bit and I think a sensible time to buy.
Was very tempted by a spyder. Had a ppi done on it which highlighted 3 of the 4 shocks were leaking. We were quoted £1282 each just for the mag rides. This seems to be one of the biggest issues to factor in when purchasing an R8.

Out of interest, would Spyders normally be more than coupes ? I know we are now in convertible season but just wondering if they generally fetch more than coupes. Looking at the market, manual prices are between £45,000 and £60,000.

yes they are universally more expensive, they cost more to buy new and to hold a premium on the second hand market.those wheels were available as on option on pre-facelift cars, if the car is a 2013 or newer they are the wrong wheels as the design was changed for the facelift

Thanks! It’s a 2010, so guess that makes sense. Just seems odd to put V8 wheels on a V10. those wheels were available as on option on pre-facelift cars, if the car is a 2013 or newer they are the wrong wheels as the design was changed for the facelift
