Well I'm going to Bellshill actually (the rough end of Glasgow).

Arse, I will be out - will it be repeated? Really want to see his response to the "ban TG" crowd...

Failing that, can anybody host it for download?

There used to be a site that had TG/5thG for download a few days after it had been broadcast...

I don't think it's repeated on terrestrial telly, I'm taping it.I agree it's going to be good watching them rip in to the greens
In the sun it says the top gear team chained themselves to a london bus because they do more damage to the enviroment running around empty than a Range rover.

I wouldn't say he was spouting crap, but I wish he was more sensible and constructive in the face of the stony-faced pseudo-science from the green lobby, or else he plays straight into their hands.

I honestly think their bus protest could've had legs so long as they presented some honest and true facts about them in a non-comedy style like the anti-4x4 people do.

As much as I enjoy Top Gear, I'm getting increasingly bored with the format. By all means thrash exotic machinery round the track, but football with Toyotas to see if they're nimble enough for city driving? Why not just drive them through a city and avoid smashing the bollox out of half of them? Does JC really need to be chased about by a tank? I know it's meant to be entertaining, but it's rapidly descending into self parody.

That said, the "green car" gag was rather chortlesome.

Glasgow, I had to pick a Scottish girl up at 7:25pm from Luton Airport grrrrrrrr.

Made it back to Bracknell for 8:10pm

As a well known policeman would say I was 'testing the car'.......

isn't that what every car programme does? doesn't the same format get a bit boring?

the strength of TG is that its able to do strange items like that for fun. did you see the state of the Toyotas when they had finished?

I tell you one thing though - they went on about the Aygo's cost-saving features, but I bet they'd get crushed like an egg if they were ever involved in a big shunt.

Top Gear isn't meant to be like other programmes though. It's attraction for me at least is the comedy value of the items, the well scripted metaphors and observations about the cars and the general release from the rest of the tripe on TV most evenings

The fact that Transport 2000 hate the show so much makes it all the more entertaining.

Great show yesterday

'we are also concerned about overly large vehicles driving around our cities with only one person aboard so we decided to hold a protest of our own' cut to them chained to a bus

Good reviews on the Mercedes and the Range Rover sport, avoiding the tank did show it had off road capabilities.

Ayco football was good fun.
