If you were thinking about buying this album buy it NOW!

It's brilliant, for those of you who don't Rob Thomas he is the lead singer with Matchbox 20 and sang on the track "Smooth" with Santana.

Highly recommended!

Have a listen on launch.yahoo.com the latest single is Lonely No More but I think my favourite track (so far) on the album is "When The Heartache Ends"

If you don't know Matchbox 20 have a listen to the tracks "Push" and "3AM".

Great music that is easy to listen to.

Have a great evening everyone!

i have just downloaded the album. it seems good so far.
what is annoying is that his voice really reminds me of someone else but i cant work out who. and the fact that i have 3700 songs doesnt make it easy to work out who it is.
why cant my computer search for "music that sounds like......"? that would be a money maker!

Released in the UK on the 30th by the way guys, oh and check out www.robthomasmusic.com as you can stream the full video for the single Lonely To Be.

I'm waiting in anticipation - being a big Matchbox 20 fan, hoping his album as a style similar to the Santana - Smooth track that he wrote.

Cheers,
Rob.

Have to tell my daughter (5 years old). She, after all, picked out the lead song for the Celebration Video on PH.TV... Seriously "Daddy, I like that Rob Thomas..."

Thanks for the heads up on the Time After Time cover - I take it this is the live acoustic recording with quite a lot of crowd noise? I tracked it down and it's pretty cool.

As a fellow Time After Time fan, my favourite cover of the song is a live version performed by a lady named Nichole Nordeman, and you can grab the MP3 here (post once you've got it if interested and I'll remove the file then). It ain't as funky as the RT one, but I like it. Esp towards the end.

I'll get a copy of the new Rob Thomas album as soon as it's available!
