VW Polo 07 Airbag Light On

Hi There,

I had a friendly recently change there battery as they were away for a while and came back to a flat battery.

Since then the air bag light has been on or from what she can remember. Ive used a code reader and got the codes:

00532 - Signal B +
01044 - Control Module Incorrectly Coded

Unfortunately the faults erase but come back, ive done a battery reset but not sure where to turn. Have they got a battery that is incompatible with the car or?

Find someone with vcds and sort the coding for starters..

No, it shouldn't but it's not unknown for modules to lose their coding for no apparent reason.
