GT3 997.1 tyre lesson and jacking point advice required
Discussion
I have trawled back several pages but could do with an up to date lesson on tyres as I need 2 rears for mot.
I currently have PS Cups and have read about PS2s and PS4s, the car is currently under warranty.
Has there been any update on the PS4s being accepted by Porsche for cars under warranty?
If not does that just leave the PS2 as the approved tyre and is the PS2 and Cup two different tyres?
Also I would like to know where the jacking points are, 1, to check any tyre firm jack in the correct place or for me to take the wheels off and replace myself. If I do this can anyone advise on the torque settings for the wheel nuts please.
Many thanks in anticipation

I don't know about approval for the PS4 but these things seem to change at a glacial rate so probably the answer is still no.I currently have PS Cups and have read about PS2s and PS4s, the car is currently under warranty.

The PS2 & the Cup are different tyres; both are pretty old technology. You should be putting the PS Cup 2 on a GT3 anyway. They are N rated.
The jacking points are positione inboard at each end of the sill. You'll need to get on the floor to see exactly where. You'll need a low entry jack.
Wheel bolt torque is 130Nm
