Replacing 2 tyres on Quattro - front or rear better?
Discussion
Is there a general rule when it comes to Quattro?
Car is 2003 C5 RS6
Rear tyres are being due to be replaced due to a damaged tyre. Fronts are in very good condition and do not require replacing.
Is it better to put the new tyres on the front and the older ones on the back?
or leave the front as they are and just replace the back with the new rubber?
Thanks

Correctamundo; if you're only buying two whack the new ones on the back.
Don't mix tyres on the same axle.
Other than that buy whatever the hell tyres you want. A lot of nonsense gets spouted about this but those are the only things that actually matter (and they're much the same for any other car).
