2017 models now at the £30k ish Mark, seems the best performance coupe for the money with C43s etc being considerably more expensive.

For those that have one is it worth having one? Any one else having a look at buying one? Seems like they do thang around if at the the right price!

Get a 14/15 plate F80 M3/M4 for the same money.

More power and more fun (rwd).

Absolute dog-st of a gearbox in them.

Not double-clutch, slow, jerky, and prone to trouble.

If I hadn't just got my Z4 I'd be pretty tempted, they seem great value for money and still look like a brand new car as it's the current shape.

I've heard some complaints about the Audi gearbox software, but the unit itself is a ZF8 which is considered one of the best in the industry.

They are a barge. Not sure why anyone would sink £30k into one. Depreciation city.

Might be worth posting in the “S5 Lease Thread” if you’re interested in picking one up privately. Lots are coming to the end of their 2 year terms, including mine.

I received a letter from BCA advising that it was available to purchase by me, my friends or family, and so I assume others have too. I enquired out of interest and was given a price of £29900. Car has Navarro blue paint and virtual cockpit but is otherwise standard, with 20k miles. I have absolutely zero interest or incentive in trying to sell it to you, just letting you know that is the ballpark that you’d be looking at if making a purchase in this way via another friendly PHer.

Based on the little additional research I have done the BCA price is perhaps 2-3k lower than equivalent used price from a main dealer.
