AA Parts and Labour cover- A Good deal?

I own a S1 elise, 1998 with no probs with it at the moment. seeing as Lotuses are prone to the odd problem or two i was looking into parts and labour cover with the AA. It is £56 for the year and you can make 3 claims of up to £500 over the year if they cannot fix the car at the roadside. Suspension, HGF, engine is all covered. I rang the AA and Lotuses qualify. What do people think- a good deal or not???

Took the 100 option in August last year. 87,000 miles in Feb and HGF. The bill was over a grand with the AA paying the grand (inc Vat).

Well worth it. For the price of the cover its worth just for that.
