Anyone know what this bug is?

Anyone know what this bug is, we've found about 10-15 in our spare room in various places such as window cill as seen below, on the bed and bedside table.

Don't think it's a bed bug but never seen them before. Sorry for the boring post i'm just a bit miffed incase it's something I need deal with more.

It's not a terribly clear picture, but it looks like a carpet beetle

Lol, took that this morning and was waiting to post it up, it's one of two types that keep appearing in the bedroom from time to time, no idea where they come from, in the loft maybe?

About 2mm long? If so, I've seen them in all the houses I've lived in. No idea what they are though.

Doofus is right, it's a Variegated Carpet Beetle.
They come in from outside, eat cloth and get on animals too. Loads of advice on Google.

Yeah, carpet beetle - they come in through the windows I think. Get rid before they start laying eggs. Little hairy larvae that munch on carpets and textiles and can be a pest!
