Hi All

So after having the interior completely refurb'ed in napa leather with bentley stitch, the seats are still uncomfortable. I think I was kind of hoping this would miraculously be fixed by new leather, rather than the fact that the shape of the bolster is just uncomfortable.
My other half thinks they are uncomfortable either and insists on using her car if we do anything over 2 hours.

So I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to buy some aftermarket seats like Corbeau or Recaro's and then have them trimmed in the same leather to match.

Since I've already spunked a load of cash on the refurb already, I'm thinking of just cloth trim or even used seats, as they are going to be retrimmed anyway, and I'll probs sell the other seats.

So, does anyone have recommendations for seats that are super comfy and fit the Tuscan. I'm actually thinking of the ones that went in the Sag!

Also, what sort of money should I be hoping for from some newly trimmed black leather MK1 seats?

When you say the 'Bolster' do you mean the back/lumbar support?

If so I remember a while ago someone took a bread knife to theirs and shaved some foam off which transformed the comfort of the seat.

If not then the Probax seats from an Elise had been measured and found to fit well on custom runners.

eta: I should have searched for this thread first it should help:

Worth having a word with the original trimmer before spending a whole load more ££££ I would have thought.
