Peninsula preps TVR for Le Mans

Final touches are being carried on the Peninsula T400R race car as the team prepares for this years 24 Heures du Mans -- and it looks likely to be the sole carrier of the TV banner in the race.

Peninsula is still tweaking, modding and testing with the aim of maximise the chances of a successful result. The drivers haven't been left out, as they continue their rigorous training sessions to increase their fitness for the race.

The whole team wants TVR fans to focus on the sole TVR in the race with a yell as the car passes in the “parade de pilote” -- or simply wearing black and/or yellow as you watch the race would be much appreciated.

The dealership is also busy updating its Web site to provide on-line purchasing for the 2005 Peninsula Le Mans polo shirts, caps and fleeces. This should be up and running by the weekend but if you are in a hurry you can always give Peninsula a call on 01395 232241.

Peninsula hopes to see as many TVR fans in France as possible, so do come and make yourself known to the team -- they hope to be celebrating with everyone on Sunday night!

As for the black and yellow, how about that black shirt with the T400R outlined in yellow that TVR sold a while back

Had a wander round the Peninsula site but can't even see a mention of Le Mans let alone any merchandise, anyone else had better luck??
