As you say, it won't happen. It dilutes the FA's power, and doesn't make any money for them.

Can't see the problem though - if players know beforehand (clearly not with Arsenal in this case). More transparency. I have a mate who rants about refs being bent after every single game, whether his team (Arsenal) win or lose.
