I've just had a read and really enjoyed it. Very insightful and I felt pitched at the right level for layman armchair engineers with almost zero knowledge like myself. Looking forward to more.

£10 says it's Paddy Lowe.

Paddy's no aerodynamicist. But maybe that explains this year's Williams if they've been letting him try to be one......... scratchchin

Correct! He may be a ZX Spectrum guy but he’s no wind tunnel meister.

I doubt the actual guy is anyone super senior, just a member of the aero ranks in a team. Not necessarily a “name”.

I reckon it's someone at a smaller F1 team, or maybe one from the ranks. Probably not a "name". Unless it's someone ridiculous like Newey.

My money's on a journalist who happens to have a decent level of aero knowledge.

I don't think so, a journalist would never lie...
