Bernie Torme Passes

Really sad to hear of the passing of me 'ol mucker Bernie Torme yesterday. Ironically being Irish, it was St. Patricks Day, and also the day before his birthday (today), where he would have been 67.

Ozzy got it so right, saying that "Bernie was a gentle soul with a heart of gold."

He really was the best guitarist I've ever seen live.

It'll be a sad night tomorrow night at the Half Moon in Putney, where our old mate Pat McManus is playing; so there will be many tributes.

Damn, really liked that Gillan line-up back in the day, looks like Mr Universe will be back on the platter later. RIP
