I honestly through it was fantastic, superbly written and watching RG’s character making some real development was great.
The scenes with Julian were there to (I think) highlight that no matter how low you are, there is always someone lower, and giving him the money to actually kill himself, whilst brutal, was Tony actukkally helping someone when he’s stated many times that he doesn’t care about anyone and will always do what he wants.
Brilliantly done all round IMO.

As said above,I don’t like Ricky Gervais much at at all-but it was brilliant-loved it.
My father is unfortunately suffering from dementia,and the scenes with his dad really struck a chord with me-it was very well done,not distasteful at all in my opinion.i have some real laugh out loud moments with my dad,even if he cant always see the humor in them now ,he bloody well would have before he got as ill as he now.
It also brought a tear to my eye aswell....

good acting, but too RG TM. he should have shared writing and directorship responsibilities, it is just too much a RG overload fest, his egotism really reeks with such hard story lines with very weak substance, i didn't feel the emotions he wanted as you could see the story coming a mile away, 6/10 forgettable gauche.

My only complaint was the episode 6 ended a little too 'nice' for me.
I felt the last episode, and maybe the one before as well, we're a bit weak really. Didn't enjoy the weird nicey - nicey fairytale ending that everyone got. My only complaint was the episode 6 ended a little too 'nice' for me.
It just didn't fit well with the rest of the series which I really enjoyed. I liked the sadness of it, the fairly honest look at grief and depression etc and the thoughtfulness. Didn't like the end much.
