Just heard on the news that Sunday was "National leave your car at home day"... and there was a huge PH meet at Virginia Waters.

And what's more, I reckon at least 85% of the cars left the car park and broke 6000rpm going up the hill towards Egham. The noise was just what was needed for the anti-car bunch.

Shame we hadn't organised it from Parliament Square to give the countryfolk something to chat about on their march

Apparently there was an enforced no car day in Belgium on Sunday, with cars banned from most major cities.. Now theres a proper way to reduce traffic, but just think of the lost fuel tax revenue - I can't see Gordon going for that.

So we all took Taxis everywhere because the main metro line was out of service.
