Morning guys,

Looking to replace the clear side repeaters on my new Tuscan back to orange but I can’t find a definitive part number. I gather they are a ford part but what one, from what era?

Alternatively, if anyone has an as new set available, please let me know.

Please post a photo of the ones you have - if anything like this (off a Chimaera) below, then you are looking at Ford Fiesta 1999 ish

The car currently has clear side repeaters which I’m looking to put back to orange, so no orange part to compare. TVR parts offer the clear ones but no orange - I’ve emailed them but no reply.

Message understood - what I am asking is whether the clear ones look like this shape-wise.

The early Tuscans were built at the same time as the later Chimaeras, and this indicator repeater is off my car - but clearly has "Ford" embossed just above the centre. I looked at every Tuscan photo I could find and, apart from almost all of them having clear lights, they all appear to be the similar to the lights on my car.

Alternatively, either pop down to Tescos car park with a photo of your repeater light, a tape measure and measurements, and find a 1999-2000 Fiesta, or go to your nearest Ford dealer.
I would send you mine (as photographed), but I can only lay my hands on the one I photographed.
I changed mine to clear a couple of years ago, but my mother was from Yorkshire, so I never binned the old ones.

Ah apologies. I’m with you now.

The clear ones on there are indeed oval in shape - similar to yours in the picture. Dimensions; W59mm x H40mm.

I’ve got some spare orange side repeaters somewhere but I cannot think of the life of me where. I’ll have a look. If I can find them you are welcome to have them.

The advert I saw on Ebay said Mark 5 Transit, Mark 3/4 Fiesta and Mark 1 Mondeo.
I first spotted the Fiesta connection when parked next to one, with the Fiesta's repeater just by my door.

Ford KA Mk1 is another option:-

Ebay 163256260399

I have fitted aftermarket LED clear ones to my Tuscan mk1 these also included new wiring tails which I also fitted new connector blocks as well.

Just measured the Ford one in my photo - it is 59mm by 38 or 39 I would say. I can pop out to the man cave and find a more accurate measuring instrument if it helps.

Seems Ford used them on several models

Can confirm the mk4/5/6 transit items are a direct replacement.

Not sure I like it now though  leave them in for a while, see how I feel.

I didn't tell you so........but the thought did cross my mind.
At least they now match the other four indicator lenses for colour

Yeah - I understand that pre 2002, they came with orange side repeaters so I like it from the aspect of originality. We’ll see how long it lasts, thanks for your help beer
