Help appreciated re some driving locations in Germany

I have driven a lot in Germany in the past, and am returning to do a few tracks this summer; want to do a few more relaxed roads in between the quicker stuff.

Am fairly flexible but want to explore places I have never visited...thinking Frankfurt-Aerzen/Hamelin-Großplasten-Bad Dobern/Heiligendamm up tp Copenhagen via Odense and then back through Bremerhaven-Hannover-Koln.

Am familiar with the routes for tracks and the large cities, but would appreciate if anyone knows of any interesting twisty/scenic roads in the above slightly strange itinerary. ( If not I will modify the itinerary and head for Berlin as usual....

As far as i have found, its a little flat and featureless as far as good driving roads go in the north. The south is much better, but not in the direction you are going.

Another option if you want to end up in Berlin, is the Hartz mountains. Its popular with bikers, and supposed to be good, though i've not made it there yet.

Definetly check out the Harz - here are the best driving roads in the North of Germany, and beautiful scenery.

I live not too far away (In Braunschweig), send me a PM and I can give you a guide of the places (best is to drive on a weekday - its empty!).

If you’re heading towards the Harz try to spend a day at Bilster Berg race track. Check on their homepage for available track days and other activities. Great track.

There is a slight eccentricity here.

When I ordered my Panamera ST Turbo there was a temporary freeze on factory delivery due to the whole diesel emissions fiasco. So the car arrived in Canada despite my normal habit of factory pickup.

So I have shipped it back.

Picking it up in Frankfurt May 22- plan is to take a few days in Copenhagen and a long road trip including Harz area with a side trip to Spa and NS for a few days.

I have only driven them in track focused cars. The Pana will be a very strange experience. Evidently will take it easy on track but a few good dawn autobahn runs likely

I will be back when the 992RS shows up and then Bilsterberg is definite. . Better to experience a new track in something more nimble- but you have inspired me to put in into plan.

If you've any good route recommendations for Hartz, I'd be happy to check them out. Seems to be alot of route to choose from.

Blister Berg looks pretty good also. I'm trying out Groß Dölln for the first time next month. Maybe next up would be Blister Berg, or the other place
