Definitive 911 reference book?

I want to educate myself on the finer points of the 911, specifically the 996 and 997.
Anyone recommend a definitive written guide?

i bought it in november and its not bad. the quality of the copy and editorial is poor but the depth of research is impressive. well worth it in my view if you want to get deep into the 997 from a non tech perspective
