Sounds horrific, hope you're all well away from the carnage.

Good to hear you, and your family are okay Rob.
Hayley (wife) and I were in hospital for her chemo. I managed to get out just prior to the lockdown to go pick up the kids... which incidentally were also in lockdown.
The F'ing TV reports of an active shooter situation at the hospital had me wishing I had not left. That I could have done something, anything. Hayley, helped other Chemo patients throughout and was released just after seven. We, as a family, were lucky.
I've not stopped the desire to throw up since Friday. I can't believe that some POS could create such destruction. I can't believe that this level of hate could strike so close. I can't believe this is New Zealand.
I volunteered at Hagley (Victim Support) Sunday. The scope of those immediately affected is alarming. I feel guilt for not doing more to protect those now injured or dead.
