Just returned from a weekends golf (cue Scruff....) in Espana.

Roads were wonderful )(wish I had the Tiv), drivers all thought they were Carlos Heinz, police were few & far between, & NO speed cameras.

Anyway, the best (in the broadest sense of the word) car I could get at short notice was a Migraine Cabriolet, so i thought I would pass on my thoughts in case anyone else was about to book a hire car.

Roof - very good, undo grip and press button and everything looks after itself (wish the Tiv was as easy)
Bootspace - not bad, but tight for bigger baggage
Gear change - woeful, 3.5 feet from 4th to 5th
Handling - soft but never lost control even on tight bends in the hills
Driving position - comfortable but not height adjustable
Speed - seemed to top out at 155kmh with the roof down
Misc - white dials and alloys

All in all, more fun than a Suzuki jeep & reasonable holiday fun with the roof down and it seemed to excite the Spanish for some reason......

Can I get a job on Drivel ?

Nope far too objective.
You didn't stand and spray water at it a 50mph to see if you got wet.
You didn't try to fit a double bed in the back.
You didn't even mention how easy it was to get the roof rack on with the roof down.
A long way to go yet I fear.
