Baring in mind the soft sentences dished out by the courts, he’s probably figured he’ll get off with a slapped wrist.

After all, during a knife crime/killing epidemic, didn’t a judge not jail someone who repeatedly stabbed/hacked at the roof of a car with a big knife as he tried to get at the driver?
