Boot light switch
Discussion
Aaaargghhhh! For the umpteenth f
g time the boot has been left at half catch (by your truly!), not fully closed and the boot light has drained the battery. Ironically the last time I went in the boot was to put the Andersen leads in there...........
In my defence, it has new seals so the boot lid doesn't now just drop and lock fully, but enough is enough!
I want the boot light on, but only when the lid lifts above the catch. Where is the switch located and is it adjustable? Or do i need a different switch arrangement to achieve that?
TIA

Good idea , but I still need to know where the current switch is to break into the circuit, any ideas?
Konrod, the switch is located next to the boot catch - it's actuated by the 'arm' that flicks clockwise to release the boot lid catch. Access via the void behind the grp outer skin. Good opportunity to lubricate cable from solenoid and lock mechanism??Nick
