We moved into our new home last August. The previous owner was a proper techie and ordered these cupboards in their new kitchen;

Whilst they look great, they are a pain in the arse. To open them you touch a pad at the bottom and the panes slowly lift up. It's not a fast operation and you have to wait 5-6secs to get a glass from the top shelf. I would prefer to just open a glass door on hinges myself!
Now it's out of warranty the one cupboard has stopped working and is stuck in the open position. When the touch pad is touched you can hear a switch/solenoid but nothing happens.
Anyone else have these and know how to rectify/reset? I have been on the worktop and looked at the top but I can find no switches or anything.

My sister has them, useless things. Have had to fix them a couple of times when the cable has broken and trying to get the correct length on the cable is near on impossible.

Where did you get the replacement cables from please? Do you just replace the cables or the complete unit that’s housed at the top of the cupboard.
