Approved used warranty

I'm almost at the point of buying a 16 plate rs6, just wandering how good the approved used warranties are from Audi?
For another 4k I can get a 67 plate so still in original mfr warranty but if the approved is as good I'd rather save some cash.

Also what are the chances of getting a 2 year approved warranty as part of the deal, is this something dealers are open to of they won't budge any more on price?

I bought my first RS3 with a year's approved used warranty. It was with the dealer for four months whilst diagnosing and fixing a rattle from the engine, no quibbles or anything. I'd say it was worth having, particularly on the RS6 where the bork potential is even higher.

I managed to negotiate 2 years on my S1, however had to take their finance. OP did you go for a Nardo Grey RS6?

No, really wanted one but couldn't find one with both adaptive cruise and rear view camera. Have found a 2016 12.5k mile performance model in panther black crystal, ideally I was after a mid to late 17 plate for the warranty but the 2 year approved used will help with that.
