A little bit more (M5) Staffviggen juice!!!

For all you 'Recognizers of The Insane Valued One' out there, good news from Wayne's World.
Big W, upon returning the beetle recently, spied the quadrovulvae and commented on the modest oomph liberations that were achievable for meagre coinage.
He reckoned six hundred sovs would boost things to around 430ish although if you're already Tubified, closer to 450 wouldn't be against all odds.
Frankly, at that rate, a bit of spanner work by Gawd knows (at this stage) and we should be conceiving of E60 power levels, which might be worth a snifter.
I look forward to a verifiable 190+ E39 M5 experience.
On, ON!

Mmmm.... tempting
With the new model being released on thursday there should be some interesting trade ins ready for the taking. Oh and check out the noise of the Tubi exhaust on scuderia system's site. Apparantly the video is the standard Tubi system. A discerning lunatic such as yourgoodself will require a louder rumore version.

I meant to put '200+ experience' since it already achieves around 180 without too much protest and it appears to have the aerodynamics to match.
Fuss free double tonnage ~ sensible velocities for a happier Britain!

This may sound stupid, but I thought the M5 was supposed to be your sensible car for commuting/family/work etc.

(We expect an update as and when....)
Easy as for our Man of the North. Her-Inside-The-Doors rarely rides in the Panzer so I doubt she'd notice.
Good VFM though....600 bar for that sort of liberation?

Consider it done, Greedo (btw, good time down the old Costa del Crime?): should be interesting to see what's required to create the 500-ish figure, however...they ain't the easiest vehicles to tune up, from what I can gather but where there's a will...
Talking of what one might loosely describe as 'The Boss's Chariot,' that great man of letters, Dominicus Collbecium was last night extolling the benefits of preposterously depreciated Cayennes: he came up with some absurd figure for the Turbo version which on reflection must have been for a left hooker but certainly, looking at the price of new Landcruisers (I know, I know!), even an 'S' variant would represent uncommon fine larks for confirming one's sociopathic automotive preferences.
The Turbo is, according to His Badgership, an 'easy' 500 braker.
Like all the current crop of uber saloons and SUVs, certainly something to mull over this winter as the various angles of depreciation tilt further and further to the bottom of their respective hills...
Der,
Dinan offer a package that will take the car to 450bhp. Though it is very expensive, it is reliable. Unlike a lot of tuners who state bold bhp figures and dont deliver imho.
The problem with the s62 motor is that it is already pretty much in a high state of tune.
The number of times i have read, over the past 4 years, on bmwm5.com the number of our cross atlantic dwelling m-funf owners bleeting about their CAI's (cold air intakes) and chips or exhaust not delivering the extra 60bhp they were promised. Instead when dynoed the cars would make 380 at the flywheel.
The only big increases in power that i have heard, are from superchargers. How reliable these things are is anyones guess though
Just my two penneth,
adam

I know that, really, Adam: just mindless theorizing from the darkest recesses, you know how it is!
No, no: I shall soldier on with the E39 for a while yet, hoping very much indeed that AP's finer pottery can resolve the woefull, retardant shortcomings hitherto (although I do suspect the hugely credible Wayne/9M combo can safely liberate a smidgeon more, despite accepting your researched caveats).
Looks like your new version will be depreciating very slowly indeed: the supply seems to be stifled diabolically on this car.
I bet you can't wait!
