Classic car show

Great turn out today at witton castle, lots of marques, not many TVRS or Lotus, there was even a Rolls Royce Merlin engine out of some WW 2 bomber, mounted on a rig, what a noise when it was fired up. I saw 2 Esprits, Black John Plyer Special and a silver blue Turbo. Any of the members go..

I only knew because we have a caravan there got the brochure for forthcoming events, will bring it to shaftos next week.

There is also a classic car show at Mellerstain House near Kelso on 4 / 5 June 2005.

I will be going on 5 with 4 or 5 HSV / Monaro's.

Is that the very nice place just after Carter Bar?

Its just east of Earlston (shown on link) which is about 20 miles north of Carter Bar.

The show is in the grounds of a beautiful country house, well worth the visit just to sit in the sun in the garden (fingers crossed)
