Its a westfield that was being built the car was at Donnington Kit-car show on the Westfield stand.

Now "a car is born" was excellent entertainment, so why don't we get this kind of programme on terestial TV? We get loads and loads of DIY/Gardening/Cooking programmes none of which I find partcularyly interesting so why not half and hour a week on car building?

banana, not yet but just adverised it proper in exchange and mart and autotrader. Not hitting the mags till next week but on theyre websites allready and lo and behold first day up and a guy rings me.
Better still he owns a motorbike shop and is interested in p/x ing a bike with me. That would suit me as it means I can have a bike back in the garage and some dosh in the bank. I can tell herindoors that i've got the bike for sale and wer'e all happy.
Just hope it comes off now.

So, what did people think of it ? I thought it was pretty good (though what's with the cast of 1000's act ?? Who are all those extra people who kept wandering in/out of camera ?)

Also, why (when they were putting the engine in) did they sometimes fuzz the "Westfield" logo on the air filter, and sometimes not ? And why bother at all .... it's not like they've tried to hide the make of car !!

All good fun. Its certainly not educational (I don't think I could put one together after watching the programme) but it is good entertainment.

I rather like the gentle amateurishness of the whole thing. The whole crew know one another so well that they are comfortable joking around in front of the cameras. Doesn't matter that the jokes are dire...its the camaraderie that comes through - and I think that's part of the charm of the show.

It'll be fun to see him race.

I liked it...still not as an enjoyable watch as ACIB, I think they went through things too quickly. i would also love to see Mark actually drive some of those wacing cars like the 911 gt2 That would be thooper!
