Picking up tomorrow, many doubters.

Picking up a 2017 GT with just under 7000 miles. Buying from a reputable dealer. Friends and family have said that I am making a big mistake as the interior falls apart.

Well i have had my US spec 2017 for just two months (from new) and everything is spot on.

If they do fall apart then standards must have dropped from the s197 days because nothing ever went wrong on the ones I had (apart from rusty hood of course!)

I have a 2016 gt convertible, 12 k and had I f for a year now, interior is fab and no problems.
Ok my puddle light projectors under the mirrors were distorted,looked like donkeys. Sorted under warranty, terrible reliability.

How many of the friends and family have owned one ,been in one ,know anything about Mustangs ?

Answer....likely few to none.

Had mine two and half years now, nothing fallen off or broken on the inside. There are a lot of hard surfaces but it doesn't bother me, only thing I would recommend is get in touch with Royal steering wheels and get one of his modified angels, so much nicer to touch.

I kept the cue ball gear knob when I sold my GT, wish I'd kept the Royal steering wheel.

It was a thing of beauty and wonderful to hold.

I had my Mustang for 2 years and 14000 miles. Solid as a rock. Interior looked as good as the day I bought it, when it sold.

Lost barely any money on it either.

Enjoy your 2017. I'm jealous

Had mine for two years, no problems with the interior - only problem I've had with the car was a failed aircon compressor, sorted under warranty with no quibbles.

2016 with 55,000 miles. The interior's still perfect.

2018 GT here. Had it 10 months and put on 7500 miles with absolutely no issues. Only car I have ever bought new and one of a few cars I've always wanted since being a kid.

As you are an owner of a '18, may I ask, do the triple front drls work unlike on the '16/17?

Hopefully you will get thar down a bit !! mine has only crept up to 17 after a motorway trip, it was 13.,

Had mine 6 months now, not a single thing has gone wrong with it. Infact, it's put to shame a lot of German cars I've owned.
I had cold feet before I bought it, but i went ahead and as soon as I drove it from the dealers I knew did the right thing. These card are worth every penny just for the smile it will put on your face.
So many positive reactions from all sorts of people, get a Roush axle back and it's like music from the car.
Quibbles? Fuel consumption sucks, average 13mpg. The heated seats don't heat much , not like my wife's x5.
Other than that, it's fantastic, such a handsome brute of a car, I always look back at it after I park it up

My 2017GT. Is fine. The drivers door card was a bit flimsy, but properly fitted under warranty.

The interior is a little low rent, but solidly built. Ignore them and look at and drive one.

Everyone that looks at the interior of my 17 says thats smart- and its only a base US spec, not posh like the UK ones ha.

Yes they work Croyde, at least last time I looked they did.
