noise during acceleration

I own a 2014 TTS. When driving normally the car is fine however, when going for a spirited drive a noise can be heard from the rhs of the car, window open or not. It sounds like a sucking/vibration sort of noise, I cant describe it because Ive never heard anything like it before. what I do know is that it is related to the engine speed as it happens only between 2900-3200 under hard acceleration in all gears. I have thought it might be a baffle in the exhaust system that only resonates at that rev range under load.
Any suggestion or answers would be greatly appreciated
