SubaRust Impreza: Restoration Stuff.

Bought this in 2012, a 2002 Bugeye WRX with added Prodrive bits.
Time to give it some much needed love and start fixing the long list of things that I’d neglected over the last couple of years and sort the inevitable rusty arches along with a healthy list of other assorted rusted bits, some of which were pretty shocking. There’s a bit of leather restoration and reverting some stuff back to factory (headlights) too.
Most of the bodywork was done by a pro, I know my limits and the arches more than exceeded them!
Bit pic heavy and will probably get worse as not finished fixing yet.
Driver side rear arch, this has had a knock in the past and the filler had started to lift due to the rust lurking underneath... I’ve no idea how I’ve resisted the urge to pick this off.
Finally gave in to the urge and picked the loose bits off as I dropped it with the bodyshop
Bit worse than it first appeared, wasn’t expecting it to be clean but the rather large section that was completely gone wasn’t fantastic.
Passenger side rear arch, not anywhere near as bad.
Surprisingly clean inside, note the lower section that was missing from the drivers side is untouched on the passenger side.
