Polar Ben - had a nose at your profile and noted a few of your responses (regarding sledges and Breitlings)...
Just curious... what HAVE you been up to? North pole, south pole, and mountain climbing?
Photo in your profile looks great (be a good one for a BIG poster methinks)... how did you get into that malarky and what drives you to do it?
No way I could do that sort of thing - so all credit (and respect) to you.

It's a long story...
I set out to ski unsupported to the North Geographic Pole from Russia last year (aged 23). Came within 10 days of reaching the Pole after 59 days of skiing - it turned out to be the coldest spring since 1987, we were attacked by a bear on day 2 & I skied for 7 weeks with frostbite... most of the story's on my website - www.northpole2003.com
Reinhold Messner has described this expedition as "ten times as hard as Everest".
I'm heading back next spring - going solo & unsupported from Canada, which is a world first. Raising money for the UK's first male cancer charity, the Orchid Cancer Appeal - www.orchid-cancer.org.uk
Apart from lugging 17-stone sledges around the Arctic, I have a passion for all things British, fibreglass and over 4 litres in capacity

Top website.. had a quick scan, but will definately read it (hey, it's friday I'm allowed!).
Good luck with any future ventures... and next time you decide to do something mad, don't forget you PH sticker! (oh, and hassle everyone here to sponser you a few bob to do it for a good cause).
As I said before... don't think I could do what you have!
Oh and as an aside... you have a passing resemblance to Jay Kay in all that head gear!

The very same, although I couldn't stick the new forum - crap format, slow server and too many prima donnas throwing hissy fits
I've been pretty busy recently, but missed talking bolx about cars, so here I am
And besides, I'm planning to get one of Blackpool's finest (providing I get back in one piece) next spring - lurked here for a while but couldn't resist getting drawn in
