Crackdown on dodgy internet habits at work
Discussion
While looking through the history on one of my labs microscope imaging computers there were numerous URLs of a dodgy nature. The microscope operates a booking system so it didn't take long to figure out who the culprit was....
An email sent to him (and CC'd to his boss) has ensured it won't occur again!

Who in their right mind surfs for porn at work?!

you surf all yours at home then?
The report seems to be about child porn which of course is wrong, but they say any employee with 'glamour shots' of a 17 year old is breaking the law, but didn't a girl do page 3 at 16 some years back?
Edited to add : ah just read it again (far too early) so anybody with pictures of same page 3 girl would be now in possion of kiddie porn?

A friend of mine was working away late at the office one night.
He gets up to go to the loo and walks past the back of a colleague. As he glances up he notices, bold as brass this chap viewing child porn in the office without an apparent care in the world.
Police called and he was dealt with.
Martial Law should really apply in cases such as these though...

Another one was a company I worked for in the states.
We got an email about viewing porn at work and how it had happened and the person wasnt going to be named.
Your sincerely, the HR dept type stuff.
Next thing we know is the floor boss hollers out of his office 'Rick, get in here, I need to talk to you about this porn'
Cue much laughter and Rick being given his cards...

The age at which an indecent picture of a child is considered illegal has also been raised from 16 to 18.
"Any employee with glamour shots of 17-year-olds is now behaving illegally," said the IWF spokesman.
Another well thought out piece of legislation.
They'll be able to determine the age of the subject by cutting her leg off and counting the rings, but how the hell are they going to trace her in the first place....?

Probably the numbers of cases was going down - which would mean the "taskforces" etc would have their funding cut.
If the numbers go up then they can claim a paedophile epidemic and ask for more money.
... Or they are aiming to get all men out of work?!
