8 months of rain in an hour?

Apparently in the middle of AD and Dubai. Nothing to write home about where I was in Dubai...some rain, that was it.

Well we got a bit of rain in JVT, a tree blew over in the garden and I left the Caterham outside (under cover) but it was still a bit soggy in the morning

Came back from Abu Dhabi at 6pm, at stages could not see a thing in front of the car as rain so intense. Lightening lit up sky for whole 2 hour journey from Abu Dhabi to Jebel Ali, worse weather I have ever driven in.
And still people in second outside lane on phone at 60

We had pretty severe flooded in places (Qatar) but from what ive seen Kuwait was hit the worst.

Wife informed me today we are supposedly due 13cms of rain this weekend?

We had a weather warning from our FM team last night, can't see anything in the forecase to see why though (DXB)
