Faulty boot lid - Infiniti Q50 2016 Geneva edition

Hi all
Have just bought an Infiniti Q50. 2016. Great value, lovely car.

Noticed that when I press the boot release button on key, the boot unlocks but doesn't raise itself which I think it should?
It has two hydraulic rods which I think maybe faulty.
Has anybody got any advice for me please?

take it to a dealer as it should be in warranty and RTFM to check if it should auto open.
