I'm not happy at all, just been doing the shopping at Sainsbury's, and would you look at the state of the trolley they supplied?
Clearly been in some sort of unpleasant front end side on shunt. Absolute deathtrap, I should think a category B if not A write-off, the chassis is totally bent.
Tried to find the VIN to do an HPI on it, but it was conspicuous by its absence.
Strongly worded letter being written to head office, heads will roll...
Edit: Oh yes, and the handling was terrible

That looks like a nasty front quarter impact. It probably won't polish out.
I'll bet it was done by one of those trolleys that have got one wonky wheel, which made one of it's unpredictable swerves into your vehicle. The drive of the culprit trolley probably accelerated too harshly, not realising he had developed a 'flat'. Numpties, they're everywhere!

My good friend Mr AJ Lintern and myself were just discussion the potential for rather nasty splinters if one was to have a "whoopsy" in this little beast...

People at my uni and I mean a lot of people are convinced tesco have some kind of radar or these metal pads are magnetic so jamming at least one of the wheels of the trolley so it become incredibly hard to push it to uni. I just can't believe they actually belive that.
But how do they do it??
There's a gizmo attached to one of the wheels. Buried magnets all round the perimeter of the site release a catch when you go over them and a brake block falls onto the wheel. "Leading shoe effect" gives it enough braking power to lock the wheel.
The workaround is to use an empty trolley to plot the position of the buried magnets, then lift the spiked end of the loaded trolley by 6" or so as you go over the magnets.

@ the thought of passers-by wondering WTF that bloke's doing taking photos of an empty shopping trolley!
cue idea for another Fifth Gear expose on collision damage - what happens when a shopping trolley collides at 3mph with a shopping basket in the frozen food aisle?
