Was just going to pop this little beauty in the Council thread, but - as people are still salivating/retching at the marvel that is frozen microwaveable Doner Kebab - I thought this little cracker (pun intentional) deserved it's own thread.
Here is the packaged product in all it's glory.

It is my intention over the next few days to buy one of these and report back on how it goes.
It's intended to serve six, but at 800g, I'm guessing I'll be able to finish it off in two goes. The other half doesn't eat meat, so I may have to enlist my own family chipolatas ( 2 Miniature Dachshunds) to help me polish the thing off.

Here is a link to one article in it. Other rehashed press releases are available if going on the Sun's website is against your principles.

There was a mobile food van that did these last year - I was looking to get them to cater for Christmas event for me, but they've closed frown

That would make an excellent post-pub snack had one missed dirty takeaway opportunities

It's good to know that if I do eat half, I will have sourced my daily recommended salt allowance.
Especially useful at this time of year when sourcing salty foods is so difficult.

I would eat that if it was chicken.

I've bought the last one on display in the freezer this morning. The stuffed goose roast looks interesting too.

Out of stock when I looked and I'm not around for the next fortnight.
Damn.
Anyone tried one yet?

Still in my freezer. I had a look at it but it wasn't saying 'eat me now' yet.

Don't know why it needs so much salt.

I not entirely sure what you are offering to do for the OP here.
