Pretty sure the track/hire fleet is separate from the retail side - if there's a particular car that tickles your fancy, ask them. Aside from that you're unlikely to find a caterham that hasn't been tracked at some point, and it's certainly not something to shy away from. They were designed for it!

The track rental cars do get offered for sale, at usually, very competitive prices and refreshed I believe.

I spoke to Jonny about 5/6 years ago about maybe buying a rental SV, but couldnt quite get there financially at that time.

As above, Book A Track use cars for track day rental but they are also a Caterham dealer selling new and used cars that have nothing to do with the track arm of the company if there is a specific car your interested in them ask them outright if its ond of their ex track cars.

Yes in so much I sold them one of my cars, they hired it out for track use then resold it later.

They were certainly genuine and straight up in all my dealings with them (Johnny) and I would have no doubt that they have maintained their cars very well.

Also remember that a Caterham is very light, so the track strain placed on the components really isn't comparable with normal cars. They are also remarkably simple cars.

As above if it is priced accordingly, I would not have a problem buying from them.
