O/T: Windows XP Critical Patch

Just a warning to those of you who have XP installed - I've just installed a Critical Patch via Windows Update (I already have SP1 installed, so this must be post SP1) and it has totalled my laptop

Do NOT attempt to install this fix. No idea as yet why it has happened, once it's repaired (if ??), I'll try and update.

Can't reply to e mail at the moment either and yes, this has come at a perfect time

Anybody hear about the Keyboard stroke sniffing 'feature' that has 'quietly' been fixed my MS in SP1 for XP - ref Terminal Server (which all of us techy types I imagine use religiously all the time; 'what do you mean the server is only over there - it's easier to do it this way...')
