moreymach, but you don't understand - YOU LIVE IN PENZANCE AND NOT IN WIGAN.

Must've been to your county dozens of times - and, yes, I know it must be different if you live there - but check the following to buck yourself up...

You've got the ocean, harbours, nice walks, nice views, less crime, nicer people, decent-sized pasties, decent choice of pastie flavours, Kelly's Ice cream, Wychwood brewery, quaint liddle villages.

I've got the Leeds-Liverpool canal, a crap pier, bloody Rugby league, small pies, Fredericks Ice cream, Uncle Joes mint balls and a stinky old mill.

Apologies to other Wiganers on here, but Cornwall is THE place to live/holiday. Oh, apart from the Lake District, which is closer to me but hasn't quite the same appeal!

Does a pastie count as a pie?

And what about the wrinklies, shed-pullers, gatsos etc? that jam up the roads???
Still a great place to be.... got my vote, (after Scotland that is!)

Well there are more low-tech options...

1) Sund proof booth...
2) Ear plugs..

or you can phone a PHer up and get them to read the threads to you..

What's that "Cornish Piskey" thing all about? Is a Piskey different to a Pixie?
