Well, this being a Marcos handbook, it doesn't give the vehicle weight. It doesn't even give tyre pressures FFS . But in the technical specification it does quote power as 352bhp, and power to weight ratio as 296bhp per tonne.

Sooooo...... I reckon that gives a vehicle weight of 1189kg.

Sorry I can't be of more help than that....

I've been running mine at 28psi aswell. Wear seems pretty even so I think we're about right. I did put them up to 30psi for a trackday though.

Good luck with the MOT (be a shame to see it go though). Let us know how you get on.

I did chuckle when it failed yesterday - Handbrake (never use it), NSF tyre (ouch) and emissions.

Didnt put the purchaser off 1 bit

wonder if it might get stolen before midday tomorrow.

Bugger.

Your options are severely limited. May I suggest the 'inconsolable, broken shell of a man, a shadow of his former self' approach.

Maybe Mrs Maniac will change her mind if she wakes to find you uncontrollably sobbing to yourself in bed tonight. Then she'll let you buy a supercharged Mantis.

Or maybe not.....
